What is Lidocaine?

How long is an IV Lidocaine Infusion?
Depending on the condition being treated, the infusion is usually given over 30 minutes or 60 minutes. There is also a 30-minute post-infusion recovery period where you will continue to be monitored.
What are the side effects of IV Lidocaine?
Light-headedness, dizziness, confusion, lethargy, nausea, vision changes, and perioral numbness. These side effects are infrequent and extremely well tolerated.
