Laser for Pain

  1. What is Laser?

LASER stands for Light Amplification from Stimulated Emission of Radiation.

2. How does Laser work for pain?

Laser is a Regenerative, Non-Invasive, therapy for pain that uses the scientifically proven modality of photo-biomodulation i.e., photons of light to modulate mitochondria at a biological/cellular level. This causes an increase in VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor), blood flow and angiogenesis (growth of new blood vessels). This reduces pain and inflammation, enhances tissue healing and increases circulation.

3. What pain conditions can Laser treat?

Laser therapy can be applied to pain conditions in the head & neck area, all the way down to the foot & ankle. It can be applied for both acutely painful conditions and also for chronic pain.

4. How long are the Laser treatments?

Treatment recommendations are usually based on the location of pain, severity of pain and on average we recommend 8 to 12 sessions for Chronic Pain and 4 to 6 sessions for Acute Pain. Each session is usually between 5-15 minutes.

5. How much does Laser therapy cost?

Each session costs US$80

We offer treatment course packages of:

  • 10 treatments for US$600

  • 20 treatments for US $1,000

6. How do I know if Laser therapy is an option for my pain?
